Olabisi Badmus, MD, MPH, FACPM

Dr. Olabisi Badmus, MD, MPH, FACPM, endearingly known as "Dr. Bisi", is board-certified in Occupational Medicine and Preventive Medicine/Public Health, and is a fellow of the American Board of Preventive Medicine. She completed her medical school education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  

 

Her medical education was followed by additional residency, fellowship training, and graduate studies in public health at esteemed institutions and agencies including The University of Chicago, Morehouse School of Medicine, and the New York City Department of Health.

With years of experience as an occupational medicine physician, Dr. Bisi has cared for employees in various sectors and industries. She has also served as a consultant and medical examiner for Social Security, the Department of Transportation, and Medicaid, with expertise in disability determinations and independent medical examinations. As a dedicated physician and educator, Dr. Badmus has held leadership roles and faculty appointments at multiple academic institutions in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

In addition to her expertise in workers' compensation case management, and case and peer review, Dr. Badmus is licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina and is trained in using the AMA Guides to Permanent Impairment, 6th Edition.  When not working, Dr. Bisi loves spending time with her husband and two children, as well as exploring new culinary experiences as a passionate “foodie”/ food enthusiast.
